"August" out Now from Noeline Hofmann

"August" out Now from Noeline Hofmann

For her third release with La Honda Records, Noeline Hofmann delivers a beautiful late summer ballad – "August". Of the track, Hofmann shares, “I wrote this song after experiencing heartbreak and tragedy year after year within the month of August. The hardest losses to cope with were fatal farming accidents. Where I’m from, the month of August means the end of the growing season, the beginning of harvest, and preparation for the impending winter - pulling bulls, and hauling bales. The song comes from the experience of dealing with grief and its annual ghosts in an isolated setting. The unsettling feeling of being on the verge of an unwelcome transition but with no tangible sign of it looming- bracing within the stillness of August’s weather.”
