Canadian songwriter Noeline Hofmann turns the hard work of her rural Alberta home into beautiful lyrics that break dawn and set sun on a universal landscape. Her voice makes familiar the prairie she sings of as a breeze rolls grasslands or dances the ears of cattle. You listen to her songs and you see them – she doesn’t ask you to believe the lyrics. So it is with great joy that today we welcome Noeline to the label. Her original song “Purple Gas” was recently released in collaboration with Zach Bryan as a duet. In the coming weeks, La Honda Records will begin releasing more of her stunning songs.
